This Agreement shall apply to persons who are residents of one or both of the Parties.
This Agreement shall apply to taxes on income imposed on behalf of a Party or of its political subdivisions or local authorities, irrespective of the manner in which they are levied.
There shall be regarded as taxes on income, all taxes imposed on total income or on elements of income.
The existing taxes to which the Agreement shall apply are:
in the case of the State of Qatar:
Taxes on income or profits;
(Hereinafter referred to as 'Qatari tax').
in the case of Guernsey:
Income tax;
Dwellings profits tax;
(Hereinafter referred to as 'Guernsey tax'); and
